Below is a series of photos taken with the Nikon P1000 camera of the latest eclipse we had August 27th, 2026. as you will see, this series of pictures reveals an impossible lighting problem that the sun cannot be providing.

Keep in mind these clearly established parameters:

• The sun is at the opposite side of the earth to be able to allegedly cause the earth's shadow on the moon in the south eastern sky.
• The shadow can be seen incrementally growing over the moon. (Many pictures were left out due to number, but you know the pattern... slow shadow encroaches onto the moon's surface).
• The moon's features can clearly be seen in the reddish "shadow" cast.
• The earth is allegedly creating the actual shadow, which begs the question . . .
• "WHAT" is the source of the light that allows the shadowed features to be so clearly seen, despite the sun's light being almost completely shadowed on the moon's surface where these features exist?

We know this about the lighting:

• The crescent isn't lighting this up or every phasing moon we see every month should be showing the features in the "shadowed" areas from that "crescent" light. This crescent eventually grows very small so that amount of light can not "bend" around an allegedly "round" moon and illuminate the lower features.
• It cannot be "earth shine" since the sun is at the opposite side of the earth, so no atmospheric reflection is occurring.
• The moon's features in the "shadowed" portion can be seen quite evenly despite the alleged "ball" shape NASA/science claims the moon is. . . meaning, the source of light is uniform across this entire "ball" surface, and it isn't from crescent light, earth shine reflected light OR atmospheric reflected light, so . . . there MUST be another realistic explanation for this light.
